I don't think all over print hoodies are in at all. I do support the wearing of them as I'd like them to be a part of everyday fashion forever. I don't think Reeboks are in. I think some are but only ironic old ones. I think, at the moment, Y-3 Yōji Yamamoto and Puma have the most exciting shoes available for most people to buy shoes. Also, could you have found uglier pictures of coats? In my opinion, they're all out if that's what they look like. I think the new colors are mauve (greyish pink) and canary (soft bird yellow).
Also, I'm totally over graffiti inspired toys and Kid Robot in general. This shwag is just like trip hop or something. I'm not sure, but turntablism and trip hop probably seemed like a good idea at the time, but for the most part, at the end of the day, it's so samish it should just be stuck in a wine bar with samish wine bar types. Wine bars play trip hop.
You're so right. Trip hop. Downtempo. Bad lounge music. Just step into the lobby at the W. Uggh! Also, did you see those Roland Berry Reeboks last year? They were one of a kind. I wanted a pair but all the 13s were ugly.http://www.kicksonfire.com/index.php?s=barneys
I like Yohji Yamamoto a lot, but Y-3 has not penetrated popular culture enough to qualify as in. It's too much of a true luxury brand at the moment ? Puma's recent shoes have been really excellent, but I think that Puma's best work is innaccessible in the U.S.- the Puma store doesn't really carry it here, and SF's sneaker shops seem to be in-ordinately devoted to Nike, with very minimal Puma offerings.Canary yellow is definitely in.
This is good stuff, Aaron. Nice commentary by Myles, too.
