Diamond Disease

My first collection of fantasy jewelry is called 'Diamond Disease'. It consists of bracelets (ankle and wrist), necklaces, earrings and nose rings made of gold (white, yellow and rose) studded with diamonds. The gold is shaped in loose, organic shapes, wrapping around the wearer in an an invasive manner, with bubbles and bulbs shooting off of it.

The diamonds will be set in at odd angles, point outwards and upwards in the form of spikes, stalagmites and protrusions. Non-traditional, non-symmetrical diamond cuts will be used to give a sense of randomness and dissolution to the pieces.
